St. Moritz Kirchlein. Hoch oben am Sonnenhang, auf 1.640 m, liegt die kleine Kirche St. Moritz. Bereits die Kreuzfahrer sollen hier früher auf ihrem Weg ins Vinschgau gerastet haben. Später diente die Kirche Pilgerreisenden nach Rom als Hospiz.

Mit der Bahn [Bearbeiten] Auf der Straße [Bearbeiten]. Von Bozen und über die autobahnähnliche Schnellstraße (mautfrei) in Richtung Meran, Meran Süd (Industriezone Lana), und weiter Richtung Lana und "Ultental", und dann in St. Nikolaus nach St. Moritz abbiegen; Im Sommer ist von Norden die Abkürzung ab Sterzing über den Jaufenpass direkt nach Meran möglich.

Die Kirche von St. Moritz im Ultental in Südtirol Kirche St. Moritz Die schöne gotische Hügelkirche zu St. Moritz ist vermutlich die älteste Kirche des Ultentales. Sie wird 1278 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Das Langhaus reicht in diese Zeit zurück, der polygonale Chor wurde im ausgehenden 15. Jh. errichtet und 1492 geweiht.
