Rough chop the tomato, onion, and garlic, then add them into a blender with ¼ cup of water. Purée into a smooth sauce and set aside. Set a stew pot over medium-low heat. Add in 1 Tbsp of olive oil and 1 cup of stars pasta. Brown for 5 minutes while stirring consistently. You want a nutty brown color, but be careful not to burn it.
